Marlene here. I want to start my very first comment by welcoming you to a conversation about assignment living. Today I will give you a description of what assignment living is and I welcome your questions and comments.
Assignment living is about finding the God conversation going on in your life
It’s about asking such questions as:
- How is God trying to get your attention at the moment?
- What is He saying to you?
- What might He be wanting to show you?
- How are you going to respond to Him?
- What’s the one thing I can do right now?
God wants to reveal himself to you and through you. He is wanting to establish his kingdom on the earth and is looking for those who want to partner with Him in this process.
The knowledge of the Glory of the Lord is covering the earth as the waters cover the sea and God wants to do this through you and me.
Assignment living teaches you how to walk your way through this process of discovering and reflecting God’s glory. It is a lifestyle of discovery and adventure with Jesus as your companion, Holy Spirit as your guide, teacher, and enablement and is a part of the discipleship process which we are exhorted to live as disciples of Christ. It is about reflecting the heart of the Father as we discover what it is he is wanting to demonstrate.
